Brianne Fitzpatrick is originally from Seattle, Washington, where she trained and performed in a range of theatrical disciplines, including extensive improv training. She moved to Ireland in 2005 to study Drama and Theatre at Trinity College, Dublin. She graduated with a BA Honours in Drama and Theatre Studies in 2009. While at Trinity, Brianne was involved in numerous productions, and was a founding member of internationally touring sketch comedy group, The Mercer Island Rodeo. In 2008, Brianne founded Ireland's first university based comedy-improv troupe, Improv, She Wrote, which continues to perform regularly. Most recently, Brianne took original musical 'Obama Mia!', which she both co-wrote and performed in, to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, where its sell-out run received widespread critical acclaim. Brianne has been working with young people of all ages for the better half of a decade, and when not teaching, works as an actor and writer.
